Parker Kligerman Excited to Tackle Charlotte’s Roval

No. 96 Toyota Camry Will Sport “40thAnniversary” TRD Paint Scheme

Charlotte (September 4, 2019) – “I’ve been a huge fan of the Roval since it was first announced,” says Parker Kligerman, driver of the No. 96 TRD 40th Anniversary Toyota Camry at the Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. “I think it’s one of the most out of the box and innovative things I’ve seen done in Motorsports in a long time. So the whole weekend last year I was incredibly jealous of everyone competing in the races.”

After running in the top 20 most of the day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Kligerman is hoping for another strong showing this Sunday.

“The road courses for us at Gaunt Brothers Racing have been really competitive, so I’m hoping we can pick up where we left off at Watkins Glen and have a successful weekend. As excited as I am to finally get to drive the Roval, I’m even more excited to race the Roval!”

Team owner Marty Gaunt’s relationship with TRD dates back to 2004.

“I know I say this every time, but it really is such an honor to highlight TRD’s 40thanniversary on our Camry, especially here in Charlotte, the NASCAR capital, and where TRD has a really big presence,” said Gaunt. “I love how excited Parker is to finally be able to race the Roval. It’s obviously a really big race, but when your driver is literally counting down the days and hours until the green flag drops, it really pumps you up as a team owner. His enthusiasm is contagious, and you know everyone is going to be bringing their A-game.”
The Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be televised at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Sunday, September 29 on NBC.
